I think I have tried them all...and this is my favorite my far. First of all...it is very emollient...so it spread easily and a little dab will do ya. Expensive at $42....it lasts forever....really. I also like the choice of shades. There really is a color to go with everyone's complexion. I wear "Light Medium." It is a straight beige...and a touch lighter than the color of my skin. Worth the splurge! Sephora.com

~ Serious Skin Care InstA-tox Wrinkle Smoothing Serum ~
This is the one Skin care item that I can't live without! I have been using Jennifer Flavin Stalone's product for about four years. It is a temporary line filler.......the appearance of lines and wrinkles. The word Minimize is key here. It does not take my lines away! It does....however.....minimize my lines by about 65% - 75% I like those percentages! The negative is: it takes a little bit to get the application down. Look on line and watch the video directions. This truly works for me. Watch for sales and specials. Today the product is $28.50 at HSN.com
~ Laura Mercier ~
Laura Mercier's Illuminating tinted moisturizer is my favorite early morning trick. If I need to be seen in the morning in "public".....I quickly apply this wonder of a product to my face ...put on a smile and make my appearance in the kitchen. Instant glow and a little bit of coverage.... not to mention nice moisturizing....is yours. Some can wear it alone....as I do when sunbathing as it has a SPF 20 protection. I also wear it daily under my mineral foundation. Others can mix it with their liquid foundation to achieve a glowing complexion that way. I think I own all colors of the spectrum of this product...gradually going darker as the year goes by. Currently I using Bare Radiance. One fab product! $42 at any of the links pictured above.
~ NARS ~
There are several products by Nars that I love. Above is The Multiple.....simply stated.... in is one product that serves multiple purposes. I use different colors for different parts of my face.....the darkest is Palm Beach. It is a dark brown that is good for contouring my cheekbones...and a nice color in the crease of the eyelid. Riviera and Orgasm are lovely pinks for the cheeks. For a great highlighter...anywhere on the face or eyes....Maldives works perfectly. It is a cream to powder formula that rolls on easily or an be brushed on. $37.00 at Beauty.com
~ Bobbi Brown ~
Bobbi Brown was one of the first to create a multi-color blush. The idea works and blends like and accenting colors to a natural finish. What I like best about Bobbi's is the soft texture and true color pigments. This item is so versatile. I love the fact that the colors make for perfect eyeshadows! This is a great product that is worth the expense. Best in class! $38 Sephora.com
~ Trish McEvoy Eye Base Essentials ~
Hey bright eyes! I have always known that eyeshadow needs some sort of base or' primer applied first. In doing so...shadow will wear longer without ever creasing. The very best of all of the bases or primers I have tried is Trish McEvoy's. Perfect as a base and even better when worn alone. I love to wake up in the morning and brush on a dab to give my eyes an awake look. I have tried three of the four colors. Hands down...Soft Peach is my favorite. It is the brightest of all of the colors...and you can actually see it. The only negative I have to say is....I go through a tube rather fast! I can't imagine being without it. $24 at SpaLook.com

~ Benefit Cosmetics ~
Brow Zings...love the name and the product! This is the product I use on my eyebrows. Without it...not only do my brows look out of sorts...but my face does not complete. I have been using this product for years...and by the way...one kit lasts me a year. It won Allure magazine's beauty award for "Best Brow" product in 2008. The kit includes:
Kit contains:
pigmented wax for shaping 1.7g Net wt. 0.06 oz
natural-shaded powder for setting 2.65g Net wt. 0.09 oz.
discreet tweezers
hard angle brush
blending brush
mirror
complete lesson
In all honesty ..I do love this product....everything but the tweezers...but they are cute and come in handy in a pinch.
Stila's Kitten Eye Shadow is my perfect color for the entire lid. It is a shimmering nude pink. Don't be afraid of the word "shimmer." There is no glitter or anything gaudy about this shadow. There is a wonderful sheen to it....that makes my eyes look awake. $18 at Beauty.com
~ Kate Somerville ~
Kate Somerville's Deep Tissue Repair With Peptide KS is the face cream I am currently using. My thoughtful husband purchased it at Christmas for me. Don't worry......he wasn't being rude.....I gave him a not so subtle hint that I wanted it. I had used it before and loved the results I received. This is what Kate Somerville states about the cream:
Anti-Aging/All skin types
Notice a dramatic difference in skin texture & moisture balance after one use!
Helps to reduce depth, density, & volume of wrinkles
Deeply penetrates for ultimate cell recovery
Instantly smoothes & corrects rough, dry & flaky areas
Prevents water loss & maintains the skin?s natural moisture
Massages in without leaving a film or residue
Restores a firm, healthy & elastic complexion
This is what I say:
You need only a tiny amount for each use. Two weeks into use....my skin texture feels firmer. My lines are starting to fade ever so slightly...nothing major yet. And I love the push button delivery system of the container. It is expensive. $150......if you can afford it......I think this is the one cream that is worth a try....especially at 20% off (Shhh! ~ Phyto ~
If you want to pump up the volume on your hairstyle....this product is for you! I always have a good hair day when using Phyto's Phytovolume Actif. It instantly adds bounce and body to my hair. It works better than any other product I have tried. It is pricey at $28 for 4.22 oz. But if you want something that is guaranteed to fluff you up...it may be worth it. Apothica.com
